I bought this refrigerator alarm because my mom keeps forgetting to close the door and I needed a reliable way to make sure it stays shut. It definitely does the job of alerting us when the door is left open but it has one major flaw for me. I really wish there was a way to change the amount of time it takes to ring the alarm because it starts going off way too soon. It is very annoying when it starts ringing while I am actually using the refrigerator and just trying to put things away. If I could adjust the delay it would be a perfect device for our kitchen. As it stands now it is a bit too sensitive for someone who is just doing normal cooking or cleaning. It works well for its intended purpose but the lack of timing settings makes it a bit of a nuisance.
