We attached to the frame with zip ties, as a bonus you can easily slide them through the mesh fabric, not just the grommets which makes it easy to hang. So it is held up well. It dims the sunlight but doesn’t totally block it out. Before hanging it, the conservatory got up to an unbearable 51 celcius in full sun. After hanging it was down to 40, but could be lower if we covered the front windows too. The material is a plasticky mesh. I could see it tearing if you aren’t careful but once in place we haven’t needed to touch it so I’m confident it won’t fail. I felt it was high value for what I paid especially compared to expensive conservatory blinds.

Pleased with how well this reduces heat in our conservatory. We attached to the frame with zip ties, as a bonus you can easily slide them through the mesh fabric, not just the grommets which makes it easy to hang. So it is held up well. It dims the sunlight but doesn’t totally block it out. Before hanging it, the conservatory got up to an unbearable 51 celcius in full sun. After hanging it was down to 40, but could be lower if we covered the front windows too. The material is a plasticky mesh. I could see it tearing if you aren’t careful but once in place we haven’t needed to touch it so I’m confident it won’t fail. I felt it was high value for what I paid especially compared to expensive conservatory blinds.
