## Description

From the manufacturer Spirit Island You are powerful Spirits of the natural world, existing on an isolated Island. Invaders from beyond the known sea have recently begun their colonization of your Island, attacking the native Islanders - a people called the Dahan - and upsetting the natural balance. The Spirits of the Island must grow in power and throw back the Invaders before the Island is blighted beyond hope of recovery! Spirit Island is a cooperative game for 1-4 players where each player is a Spirit of nature, defending their Island from invading colonists who have little regard for the well-being of the land or its native inhabitants, the Dahan. Every turn, all Spirits act simultaneously, employing Powers to push the Invaders back, bolster the Island, and aid the Dahan. Invaders' actions drive them to spread Blight across the Island. To win, the Spirits (with the help of the Dahan) must Destroy the Invaders and scare away any survivors. However, the game will end in defeat if the Island is overrun by Blight, if any Spirit is Destroyed completely, or if you act too slowly and fail to drive the Invaders off before they become entrenched.

Review: Great game! - The delivery was fast (2 weeks early) and the item was well packaged with no damages. The game is really fun! Quite strategic and takes a while to figure out all the rules, but after youßve played it once and understand everything, it is a very nice game. Cooperative with a lot of potential for good combos, with a lot of variance between individual games, different difficulties and even extentions options.
Review: Not a casual game but worth it - Epic and multifaceted two player coop board game. I bought this for my wife and I after really enjoying Pandemic. This is somewhat more complicated... the first play through took forever- like three or four hours, and we are not stupid people. But as with a lot of board games, if you are willing to put the time in, and play it the way it’s intended (eg. With less communal planning than Pandemic), its mechanics eventually feel natural, giving something in between a tabletop RPG, MTG and a trad territory based game. The art style is great, the concept is rich and both come together in the play style. It’s still early days for us, and it’s still a bit of a palaver, so I’m a bit hesitant on the five stars, but I love it and nothing can make me think otherwise!

Epic and multifaceted two player coop board game. I bought this for my wife and I after really enjoying Pandemic. This is somewhat more complicated... the first play through took forever- like three or four hours, and we are not stupid people. But as with a lot of board games, if you are willing to put the time in, and play it the way it’s intended (eg. Pro: There are lots of game out there that they also have 2 player option but usually they are not that much fun with 2 player. But this game gas a perfect experience with 2 player. I think even its better than 3 or 4 player. Con: don't buy it if you are not a hardcore board game player. It's too complex for a casual player.
