Although Polycomm typically does offer two versions of their phones - one is SIP based and the other is Skype/Teams based. It’s the same phone, of course, but the firmware is different. I’ve monkeyed around with mine a bit and am pretty sure you can switch back and forth between the two versions. But it’d be a lot easier for most to buy the right version to begin with. Teams is essentially the next generation of Skype for Business. I have Teams in my desktop but haven’t started using it all that much - I use OneNote and the Skype client. My implementation is a little different than a typical enterprise user - if you’re using this with a larger company they probably have the Skype service provisioned and you’ll just plug in and let your technical wonks figure it out. I work for a small company and while I do have a PSTN account at work (used to be E4 - now called Phone System), I have a personal E4 account that is voice enabled. Took my some doing but I finally found a provider that would sell/provision a voice account for one user. I log into the Skype client in my desktop with the secondary credentials and then I made sure that log in data was saved on the phone. Then I log out of Skype and log back in with my work credentials. I can dial a call from the phone and it used my non-work PSTN account. Works great. If I want to make a call from my work account, I dial it in the Skype client and the Skype client makes the call. Since I have the 8800 connected to the computer, it routes audio/microphone from the computer to the 8800 and I can take advantage of the awesome quality of the speaker and microphone on the Trio 8800. Works great. Longer question than you asked, I know. Make sure you buy the Skype for Business version and it will work with Teams just fine. **Q: Can I use 4 wireless Mic's?** A: 2. **Q: Dose this has call platform connectivity sip?** A: Indeed it does.
