Good to find this at a lower price than elsewhere.  Bought  it mainly for the sheep pattern that I had seen featured in a magazine.  All good and some of the other patterns nice too.  However, the yarn references are American.  I have 'Googled' conversions without success so it is going to take some experimental practice squares to get going.  On the 'up side' as the patterns are for blankets it is not too important to get it exact.

I only bought this book for one particular project, which turned out really well. I thought some of the other blankets were very obvious simple designs, which an experienced knitter would not really need a pattern to follow. However for a beginner, the patterns were very easy to use.It's quite an expensive buy if you only intend to use one pattern.The repeated sheep blanket is fabulous though!

Lots of lovely patterns but the sheep blanket is far and away the best of them.  I’ve just made it for someone and am delighted with the result, hopefully the recipient will be too.
