The good thing here is that it came out clean in the wash. I really like how it absorbed the water but didn't get bogged down or too heavy. I got this for my 8yo to wear after swimming, etc. It's great for kids who aren't skilled in keeping a towel wrapped around their body. Very handy after swimming lessons, etc. We also used it when we went to an indoor water park (Great Wolf Lodge), and it eas convenient for going back to our room after swimming. My only dislike is the feel of the microfiber fabric on my hands when I'm helping him put it on. It feels like it snags on my skin in places that I didn't think were rough and snaggy. I dislike it so much I try to avoid touching it. It doesn't seem to bother my son so that's good. The microfiber fabric does dry faster than terrycloth would, so that's a plus. This also fits my tall 6 year old
