I've tried gloves which used to be my favorite and every kind of exfoliating rag, but this towel beats them all for me. My skin feels amazing after using and I have no problems reaching my back at age post 70. It feels like it would be scratchy but it really isn't. The towel soaps up wonderfully, rinsed easily and dries quickly. The material is an interesting scrubber texture but it doesn't irritate at all. Three came in this package at a good price. Oh and I love the absence of handles that eliminate weight and by not being restricted to handles it's easier to just grab the ends or corners and scrub away. I guess that's a personal preference and it's definitely mine. I noticed a significant smoothness in my complexion though I thought I'd been exfoliating well enough.
