I use mine mainly as a coffee kettle , my teen loves it for ramen, and as a hot pot, as he puts it. The first three uses the lid warped, I emailed the company, they sent me out a lid but said it was lost in shipping, I need the lid, so the company made it right, said I bought an older version and sent me an upgrade, best customer service and an awesome product! I have brought it to work with me to heat up soup, make popcorn and to heat up chili. I will be purchasing another for my adult son. Durability is great, easy clean, although you can’t submerge in water the cup portion is wide so I can get my hand and a sponge in there. Use filtered water to cook, I use spring water, I don’t use tap water because it leaves what looks like hard water stains. But it does scrub out just takes a bit of work. This is seriously one of the best products I have purchased, I usually carry a small 720 watt battery pack for charging my younger child speech device, headphones and other accessories he requires so if I take them all to the park I pack this as well, if they want hot chocolate while out in the cold, bingo, makes them happy. This kettle pot blows the plug in car cup out of the water! Different sleeve designs so you can choose if buying from the company website, the sleeve makes it tolerable to hold but be careful while pouring. That lid needs to snap on tight. This is definitely something I will be taking with me camping, the boil time is way faster than the stove for boiling water to make coffee (I use a coffee press) and this is definitely something that is durable as long as it’s kept free of water from the buttons, electric components. The stirring rod it comes with is definitely durable , I keep it at the bottom of my to go bag so it doesn’t get lost, it’s definitely needed for stirring, to me it’s better than trying to use a camping spoon, you won’t scratch the kettle pot, no worries about that. Overall definitely a product I would recommend to other’s, this company stands by their product and customer service support is amazing! I will definitely buy again.

A: I have a built in 110/120 volt Inverter in my truck for my Voltaics Electric Kettle. There are a number of other Manufacturers who make 12 volt Kettles on AMAZON, Voltaics does not.

**Q: Why are several of the reviews about popcorn boxes? Is this product a car-plug water boiler or popcorn boxes?**
A: No. It uses 120 volt ac power.

**Q: Ok.  this thing looks cool, but there's not enough information about it. is it usb-c? can i connect this to a portable phone charger station?**
A: Due to the need for generating a significant amount of heat in a short period to support rapid heating functionality, this product utilizes an AC outlet rather than a USB-C port. Additionally, our product is designed to work in conjunction with outdoor energy storage units. However, the energy storage unit must meet the requirement of a minimum 500 watt-hours (WH).

I love how fast water boils, i love that it can pack up quickly. I use mine mainly as a coffee kettle , my teen loves it for ramen, and as a hot pot, as he puts it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Boils FAST, works great

Was wanting to get a portable way to boil water on the road and camping without using a 'flame or fuel' type set up. Something I could use 'in the car' as opposed to a fuel-powered jetboil system. 1st one arrived and unfortunately the slide switch was very loose, sloppy and didn't feel like it engaged into any detent to set it at the correct setting. Customer service was excellent. And a return was arranged and I had a new unit within 2 days. New units slide switch had POSITIVE engagement and felt like it stopped at the correct detents for each setting. Plugged it in to home socket to boil water. Put in water and waited, Attempting to time when the water would begin to boil and then come to a rapid boil to see if it matched claims made by manufacturer. At first it didn't seem to be as fast as claimed, then I realized I didn't put lid on. At 3 min mark with slight boiling beginning I put lid on and less than 90 sec9nds later, it was a hot rolling boil. And water was HOT. Would definitely make quick work of putting together a cup of coffee or adding it to a dehydrated meal. I then tried a second time but this time I used my portable 'Jackery style' battery. Yes, it does draw quite a bit of electrical power. But the speed at which it boils water is well worth it. Plus my battery is linked to a Solar System. That is always trickle charging, so it is not that much of a concern. This thing just WORKS. It's a great compliment to any type of camping or on the road set up you have so that you can get yourself a cup of coffee or heat yourself a meal while you're on the road. Just buy it, it works
