I spilled a nice puddle of coffee right on my touchpad and it began working erratically. I went to youtube and saw that this was easy to replace, so I ordered a new touchpad and a precision screwdriver set. The product arrived on time, nicely packaged and wrapped. It took about 10 minutes to remove the cover, battery and touchpad. I carefully unhooked the connecting cable, remounted the new touchpad and hooked up the cable to the new pad. Put everything back together, rebooted, and it now it works perfectly. Thanks for saving me an expensive trip to the repair shop or worse, I might have been temped to get a new one. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars inexpensive touch pad *by M***L on Reviewed in the United States on October 3, 2019* I had a battery go bad and it expanded, forcing my touch pad out of the laptop. I replaced the battery and while I had it open I decided to change the touchpad, as I was not sure if it had been damaged. I was not sure about this one, but decided to give it a try.It was easy to follow the directions thanks to YouTube video, it took a few minutes to remove the old one and replace it. Re-assembled the laptop and charged the battery. Once all that was done, tried it out. It has a little different feel to it when clicking, but after a little use could not really tell any difference between the original and this one.
