At first it feels weird, water going up your nose, (brought back a terrible memory of me drowning in a swimming pool as a child) but after I tired squirting the solution up one nostril with the nose piece slightly away from my right nostril (allowing water to disperse back out the same right nostril) it gave me the confidence to slowly press and depress the bottom valve to allow the saline to go through my nose and before I knew it the solution was coming out my left nostril which completes the circuit. It’s perfect if you have a blocked head as it clears you right out after a few attempts whilst you slowly build trust with it.
