I ordered it for a 16-mile walk where I was uncertain whether or not it would rain, and It kept me mostly dry when there was a short, sharp shower en route. I’m fairly tall (6ft) and the poncho covered most of my body down to my knees, as well as my backpack; I only did up the bottom two clasps on the sleeves as I wanted to be able to tuck my arms inside so they didn’t get wet. It folds up nicely into its little pouch, so I’ll definitely be keeping it in my bag and using it when I find myself in a spot of rain without an umbrella.However, the reason I’m giving it 4 stars is due to the smell - straight out of the packaging, it has a strong chemical odour (a similar smell to coffee, which I’m sure most people wouldn’t mind).
