The paste is fairly thick similar to spread cheese. As long as it likes the taste you could put it in it's dinner on it's paw or anything else it licks. If it objects to the taste I would think the only method is to inject it in its mouth. **Q: The instructions are a bit sketchy do they mean 2.5ml twice a day or 5ml twice a day for a 13k dog** A: I give my dog ( a Labrador) 2.5 ml twice a day , but only if he has eaten half the grass in our garden or bits from the wood! We have since bought it as a stand by for any similar problems that have occurred since then, for both of our dogs. They both suffer from digestive problems ( similar to acid reflux in humans) now and again and we wouldn’t even bother trying anything else now as it’s so calming and very effective.
