It lights up, it fades, it lights up, it fades ... continuously pulsing ... and it is very bright in the darkness of night. I couldn't have it in the bedroom at all but I guess it works like a night light on the landing and I push my door to else the light also lights up half the bedroom. Size wise it is probably just a bit smaller than the mouse for your pc. I've no idea why but I was expecting something bigger. Good things come in small packages it seems. Disbelief. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Difficult to use *by H***Z on 27 March 2018* This product is very difficult to use. It has to be 80 -120cm above the ground which is tricky as it's rare a electrical point is that high so you have to try rig that and make it vertical. The light is very bright so if you are unfortunate enough to have to have it in the room you sleep in, it's a nightmare to try cover up at night while imagining it might still work. And does it work, I am not sure.... I've still seen the odd insect but it might be because I found it so hard to get an extension cable and nail it on the wall (rented accommodation) at the right height vertically. It is silent though. The box it comes in has writing on it that is almost impossible to read and not only because of the grammar, it is minute. I don't need glasses, but wished I had some to try magnify it, luckily I have my phone to hand to photograph it and make it bigger that way.
