As an obsessed parent of a sensitive Yorkie with irritable bowel, it's been a years-long road of research and experimentation to find food that provides high-quality nutrition AND works with her tricky system. Wet food, dry food, Rx food, limited ingredient food, big-name food, boutique food, and even expensive subscription fresh food--we've given it all a chance. On a whim a few months ago, I tried Open Farm. I very carefully and gradually introduced their Small Breed with Ancient Grains kibble, and miraculously, there was zero digestive fallout in our house. In fact, both my Yorkies (even my picky one) LOVED this dry food right away, and in just a few weeks I began noticing impressive changes in both my dogs' energy levels, coat shine, and eye boogering (less). Feeling expansive, I then tried adding a little of these Open Farm freeze-dried raw patties to their meals as well, and surprisingly, my Yorkie's sensitive tummy is still holding and thriving!
