Thank God for this formula. My nephew was put on EleCare when he was 2 months old. After EleCare, he went to EleCare Jr. He is still on it at 3 years old.Yes, it smells awful and probably tastes awful. But when this is all that kids know, it makes no difference. Probably the majority of the children who use this have stomach feeding tubes, so the smell/taste doesn't even matter. And if child cannot even tolerate tube feeding, did you know the only nutrition to keep them alive is TPN (total parenteral nutrition via an central IV line in the chest)? It smells exactly the same (maybe even worse).My heart goes out to the families that have no choices. As far as nutrition, this is a Godsend and we are thankful my nephew can use it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ DD didn't mind the taste *by A***E on Reviewed in the United States on 9 October 2018* DD was about 13 months when we let her tried the EleCare Jr. She is allergic/intolerant to many things. Her eczema would flared up whenever we gave her the EleCare Jr. Then our pediatrician gave us couple EleCare infant to try. At first, same deal. The eczema would flare up whenever we gave her the formula. However, her body seems to be getting use it. Only very mild eczema flare up on her now. She really enjoys the formula. We give her the formula and rice chex in a bowl to get her liking it. It worked. She is gulping down the remaining formula from the bowl when she is done with the rice chex. We will be trying EleCare Jr again when she is done with the EleCare infant.If EleCare Jr didn't work for your kid, try switching to EleCare infant to see if it's better. As a parent of an allergic child, words can't express how I feel when I see DD gulping down the formula. Finally, something she can have that provides required nutrition without terrible eczema flare up. ### ⭐ Sent a different brand instead of elecare jr. worse reaction with neocate jr. *by E***E on Reviewed in the United States on 4 August 2019* I ordered 5 cans of elecare jr but it came with a different brand calls neocate jr. we tried because its very similar nutritions. However, my baby has very sensitive stomach and taste. Every time i feed new one, she throw up.
