Review: Reduced neck pain - I used a cervical pillow for a number of years to help with neck pain, but I increasingly found myself waking up with my head at odd angles and a very sore neck. I read quite a few pillow reviews and had never heard of a buckwheat pillow, but I thought it was worth a shot. I’m happy to say I’m very pleased with it. I bought the smallest size because it was on sale and although it doesn’t fill my king sized pillow case, the size has been enough for me. The texture of the pillow takes a little getting used to because it is not cushiony and feels somewhat like a beanbag. It has some weight to it and is very different from every other pillow I’ve used, so I wasn’t sure how I was going to respond to it. Initially, it smelled like buckwheat, which I actually found quite pleasant, but two months in, the smell is gone. While the pillow is not soft, it is extremely moldable and supportive and it has helped my neck pain a lot. I tend to fall asleep on my side and usually end up on my back unconsciously, but regardless of my sleeping position, I’ve yet to end up with neck pain from it. My only complaints are that it’s too heavy for air travel, which is a bummer because it has really helped me. It’s also not ideal for sitting up in bed due to the weight and movability of the buckwheat, but I ended up ordering a reading pillow for that and just use this for when I’m lying down. Overall, I am very happy with it and would recommend it, especially to those who have neck pain that other pillows haven’t helped.
Review: These pillows are Otay!! - I just bought my second pillow. The first I one I have had over a year and still use. They are much heavier than standard pillows and thus are useful for using to positioning against my back and butt because they don't move as easily. These pillows are Otay!! They included a clear bag of 'bonus' buckwheat with the second pillow, not sure why.

## Features

- Organic Cotton Shell + Extra Pillowcase for Easy Care: The inner shell is made from unbleached organic cotton, soft and breathable against your skin. An extra organic cotton pillowcase is included and is machine-washable for easy maintenance.
- Adjustable Firm Support with Extra Buckwheat Hulls: A hidden side zipper lets you add or remove hulls to customize the loft and firmness. Buckwheat hulls feel firmer than memory foam or fiberfill; this firmer feel is intentional and provides stronger, more stable neck support. If you are new to buckwheat pillows, please allow a short break-in period to get used to the firmer feel. An extra buckwheat hulls is included—use more for firmer back-sleeping support, or remove some for a lower side-sleeping loft.
- Molds to Your Neck for Pressure-Relief Side Sleeping: The hulls flow and conform to the natural curve of your neck and shoulders to help support natural spinal alignment. Press a small divot for your ear to help reduce pressure points when side sleeping.
- Cooling Natural Fill for Hot Sleepers – Natural Scent Note: Premium buckwheat hulls are high-temperature treated for cleanliness. Air circulates naturally between the hulls to help wick heat away, so your head stays cooler—no need to flip the pillow to find the cold side. A slight natural buckwheat scent may be present when first unpacked; it is harmless. Simply air the pillow in a ventilated area or sunlight for a few days and the smell will dissipate. The gentle rustling sound is similar to white noise and fades as you settle in.
- Size Guide – Choose the Right Fit for Your Sleep Position: Available in 3 sizes. 14”x20” fits petite users and can also be used as a travel pillow; 16”x22” suits average or medium builds; 20”x26” is ideal for sturdier body types. Choose based on your body size and sleep position for the best comfort.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The best sleep ever!!!
*by L***E on February 21, 2026*

I have tried every pillow on the market in the past. I thought my very expensive down pillow was the best until I tried this Organic Buckwheat pillow!! My life has changed! I purchased the small one, just to give it a try. Wow. My neck and upper back are finally comfortable. They sound crunchy, so that is kind of funny, but let me tell you, it becomes a lullaby for sleep. After a few minutes you settle into the most comfortable, natural position ever. In the morning you feel refreshed, no neck, back, or shoulder pain. I wish I had a mattress made out of this stuff! Happy Dreams! Give this marvelous pillow a try, you will smile in the morning. Update. Sorry to say this. I ordered a second pillow. Not only did Amazon botch the delivery. This one came without a pillow case, or extra hulls. I really wanted to support this company, but getting one out of two products delivered correctly and fully is not right. Sorry
