I tend to use them more for after meals to remove tiny bits of food but I tend to do all the gaps, whether or not there is food there. I also floss daily. My hygienist and dentist always comment on how well I clean my teeth and I said once about using the sticks. The hygienist said they were fine but couldn't replace flossing. I don't completely agree as I feel I can exert more pressure on the tooth surface with the sticks. So, yes and no but probably more no than yes. **Q: Do you get three packs? One of the reviewers says no!** A: Yes, I got 3 packs.
