Had one of these years ago for my son, now I'm taking my grandson (age 13 months) swimming. Not only does it make it easier and less tiring to hold him afloat, its easier for him to jump into my arms and it keeps him warmer. Thoroughly recommend having one. The bag is really handy too as we can take a couple of toys and the locker key into the pool. Not really sure why some are more expensive as this is perfectly good. It dries out quickly after use.
