Review: Excellent source of Green tea polyphenols - Due to being a slow metabolized of caffeine I have to be careful when shopping for green tea extract after having issues following ingestion of green tea extract that didn’t list any caffeine but had 50mg per capsule! That company said they aren’t required to even mention it contains that much, or any, as it’s a natural part of the extract. These give me I mild boost… and I know to only take in the mornings for zero sleep issues. Seems to be a very good product, if a little expensive. However, in this instance I believe knowing I’m getting a concentrated dose of all 5 of the green tea catechins offsets the price.
Review: Mild energy boost - These came with a safety seal and all the caps intact. I love green tea but it's not always possible to get in multiple cups per day for the health effects. This is when these caps shine. They are easy to swallow, no weird smells or GI effects. They do provide a light energy lift from the small dose of caffeine so, if you are sensitive, take this earlier in the day so it will not disrupt sleep. Love that the only filler is rice flour! Seems well formulated and appreciate that it is vegan. At one cap daily this is a 3 month supply which helps explain the cost.

Ok, while I do like drinking green tea, there are times where I feel that I'm only drinking it for the health benefits and not the enjoyment of the taste. So, when a supplement comes along - I like to give it a shot as a replacement for drinking the actual beverage, especially in hot weather times of the year unless I'm splurging on an iced version out of a plastic bottle from somewhere. These pills are easy to take with no awkward after-taste.
