This is far superior, quieter, smaller and cheaper to run. Can’t say enough good things about it. So easy to switch on by the app so room is cool when we get home, much lighter than my old one. Hose is a bit short (but I’m using it by a lower window so doesn’t bother me) and a bit cheap quality but does the job. Yes it makes a noise as all air con units do but in all seriousness even on high power it’s quieter than my old unit on its lowest level. Don’t compare it to the sound of a fan. Cools room quickly and removes water quickly too, so glad I bought it especially in this current heat & humidity, dog loves it too 🐶 good range of functions and looks nice too. Happy content customer sitting on sofa in a pleasantly cool room 😁 Added after recent hot humid weather- had a 10 litre container for the water to drain in to but as it was so humid recently the machine is so good it was pulling out 15 litres a day plus 🥵 so bought an external pump so I don’t have to keep emptying the container 🤣 Review: Happy as a clam - I didn't realize how terrible my previous portable AC was until I got this one. The Pro Breeze is at least twice as powerful on the lowest fan speed and having the vents on the top as opposed to the front helps circulate air in the room much more efficiently, immediately noticeable by standing at the opposite corner of the room. It's advertised as "ultra quiet" which I disagree with, however comparing it to other brands, it produces a much smoother mechanical hum as opposed to the typical compressor buzzing of cheaper models. I'm a light sleeper and I can tolerate it, though I prefer to let it run for an hour down to temp and then turn it off. It came with a lot of quality of life features that weren't mentioned in the adverts, like a button on the remote that turns the bright display off for nighttime, an option to switch from Celsius to Fahrenheit (as an American I love this), and the display will show the current ambient temperature when the unit is shut off. Our bedroom is a loft conversion so it easily gets to 35C in the summer heatwaves, and our old AC couldn't keep up at all despite running for hours and hours. This AC has no problems, within 1 hour it's a chilly 20C. Also very nice that it came with two types of window kits. Pipe is very large and stiff but has been no problem so far.
