I tried to use more affordable, 15-20$ range products, but they were far too weak to cut through foam. This product his clearly heavy duty and higher quality. I cut through 2in thick foam like butter. Everything came in the box and worked. There is a minor bit of unscrewing+rescrewing, but the blades are even replacable.This foam cutter is expensive, but compared to the nasty mess that comes from sawing EPS foam boards, how unclean the cuts are, I prefer this. Keep in mind, burning foam gives off dangerous fumes, make sure you have ventilation in the area you're cutting. Also make sure you don't have any drops of melted foam fall onto you if you're cutting above yourself.I wanted others to know, since there wasn't a lot of videos/information about how to properly cut EPS foam board, or tools you could use.
