I've had these 3 years and every time I bring them out for special guests or family events, they are a topic of conversation. Everyone is impressed!The knife sheath gives an air of 'specialness' and I leave them on for place settings. The first thing you notice is the weighted handle. I saw a complaint on someone's review about the weight of the knife, but I think it says quality and the cool, weighted handle feels good in your hand. It's easy to hold. When you slide the sheath off, you see a beautiful Damascus design on the blade, which adds to the Mosaic pin in the handle in solidifying its attractiveness and overall special feel of the knife.And finally, the best part, it slides through steak like silk. I've never sharpened mine and they're still amazingly sharp. I just ordered a second set to round out my dinnerware collection.
