Why did you choose this product over others?: I saw someone with a silver version some years ago and always admired it - decided to treat myself. As well as being stylish, the weight of the cap makes it much more balanced for me and more like a pen to hold... I know that not everyone likes that, but for me it is important. I love this pencil! The lead is super smooth and easy to write with. I find myself using the sharpener more than I expected to keep a fine tip. It's a little hard to find additional pencils and erasers that fit this cap on Amazon. I ordered some that said they were magnum sized but what arrived was the smaller size. I ended up just ordering from the manufacturer's site.
