Review: Tired of running out of room. - The U-lock system I was using before was wonderful first time out... with my new mountain bike (which I haven't ridden a bicycle in 30 years, nor needed a bike lock). The extra wide width and angular shape to the U-lock really opens up more consistent fastening when locking the bike up. The shape and the added room even allows for my bicycle helmet to be secured along with the bike (helmet has a special location where you can secure the helmet in a bike lock). Overall this U-lock system's strengths are quality material (improving security and protecting the paint finish of your bike)...price very competitive from more recognized brands...carries a weight and durability that is reassuring (for the owner) and discouraging to all other people from tampering with it.
