The bottom end can be screwed off to easily refill it with LAMY M22 compact ballpoint refills. If you are a fan of Lamy pens and need something that's compact, easy to use and versatile (all whilst maintaining that Lamy quality) then this could well be the pen for you. The only downside is that availability on desertcart is patchy and you may end up having to import from desertcart EU like me (though it only took a few extra days).

**Q: Does the white remain white? Or it gets easily dirty?**
A: The white surface is shiny and and does not get easily dirty. And if gets dirty of dirty fingers you can just wipe it off with a little damp cloth and dish soap.But the surface does not stand hard scratches from a tool or for a long time with keys in your pocket. The quality of the pen is great. I have five.

A: I have no idea what oil based means in regards to this pen. It appears to be regular plastic to me.

A: It is a small piece that keeps it from rolling if you place it on a counter or flat surface.

If your looking at these pens you already know there a step up from a cheap n cheerful plastic pens.This pen is ideal for keeping in your pocket I use it for work I have to sign in and out of lots buildings ,no lid to loose.well build solid pen.
