China or not the screws are machined and finished incredibly well. And the tool provided is actually properly sized. Ive used grips and screws from american manufacturers whos heads quickly stripped because the tool provided was not properly sized for the screw. And this while a torx screw is just different enough to look great while not having all the ridiculous patterns that IMHO dont add to the aesthetic of a beautiful 1911. These compliment the firearm very nicely without any protrusion snagging on the mag. Great product. The grips are also amazing.
