Review: Works well with my setup - I ordered this to better connect a new pair of Sony MDR-MV1 headphones to a Qudelix 5K Bluetooth/DAC/Amp in balanced mode via the 2.5mm trrs connection. It works nicely! I'm not sure if it sounds better/worse/different than Sony's optional balanced cable (that I do not have), but my [Qudelix 5K] amp clearly works better and offers more power/headroom when using a balanced connection and I'm happy. Regarding fit to the Sony MDR-MV1 - this cable lacks the knurled screw-on 3.5mm plug feature that the headphone's [single ended heavy 2.5-meter 1/4" stereo plug with bulky 3.5mm adapter] stock cable has, but it snaps into the headphone firmly without obstruction (just as 3.5mm trrs connections are designed to do). I really like that this cable shares the lightweight feel of the MDR-MV1.
