I did not care for the application as it is kind of thick, a creamy white and slightly sticky at first but once it melts into your lips, it's not really sticky anymore and the creamy white color turns into a clear high shine gloss. It only took 2 days of application to reduce my swelling and ease my bruises but a lot! I was able to return to work with very minimal bruising. Mind you, it does not get rid of bruises completely but helps heal them faster than normal.
