Once in a while a lid won't want to go on, but it's pretty rare. All three pieces are sturdy and can be used again after getting to work if need be (ours at work are super flimsy).The reason for deducting one star is that only the sleeves are compostable—plus you don't really need one sleeve for every cup since they can be reused.
