A: Hang in it.... I wouldn't advise it.

A: It's 8 1/2" inches across.

**Q: How heavy is this?**
A: It is very light and hangs well over the door. It has given my grandson, age 9, hours of fun.  When he scores the crowd roars and there is a countdown clock. There is an off/on
button, but no volume control. Hope this helps.

**Q: Does this hve to be screwed into the wall or door at all?**
A: It comes with brackets that screw into the back of the backboard, and the brackets hang in the door like the thing that holds your reef during christmas.
