They never enter the BARREL portion of the weapon, only the chamber behind it. While in the same block of metal, the rifled portion is considered "the barrel" proper. These enter the chamber, the rear of the "round" is struck by the firign pin, and they YOU operate the action, which ejects the entire tihing. So it has no opportunity to harm any properly-lubricated firearm except with the most minor of friction wear and tear. That's the point: they do NOT harm the firearm during dry fire (practice). -tc **Q: Do you have extra rubber pads to purchase for 22?** A: Sorry, the rubber pads for the 22LR size caused cylinder drag in my revolvers so I removed and discarded them and the spares. Maybe you can get more from the vendor. **Q: What's the difference with a real bullet？** A: These feel real. They are almost identical in weight to the real deal, so they feel "right",but they can never be mistaken for real bullets because these have a very obvious hole through the base of them. **Q: Do you have them in 22 magnum?** A: Dear Louis, Sorry, we don't have 22 magnum rounds yet. Failed to feed in both 22lr pistol and semi-auto though as the shape of the front is too pointed and fouled on the feed ramps. So if you are getting these for use in a bolt action 22 you are fine but buyer beware on semi-auto. As they are sent from the US the return was slightly more complex than with UK items but the seller responded promptly. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great purchased 3 different varieties over time. *by on Reviewed in the United States 13 July 2026* My favorite practice rounds, they are good quality and durable. Customer service is great. The only thing is and not a product issue is if you want to use these in a hi point, please find a model with spring loaded primer.I have purchased 3 different varieties of these and am very happy with them.The Hi Point uses the firing pin to extract and will damage the rubber primers. You get 12 training rounds which is a decent amount in my opinion. You also receive a 10 pack of replaceable firing pin cushions which is a nice touch. I expect these to last a very long time.The weight is very comparable to live rounds which makes this great for training/drills to mimic real use. The fit and finish on the rounds is very good with a nice solid construction and a decent sized hole on each round to indicate that it is a safety/training round. You could take this a step further and mark each round with a red sharpie for added safety.
