Seller got in contact with me, apologized and asked if they could send me another unit. I've had the cable for 4 days now. I've rigorously tested it with coupling and uncoupling the magnetic interface. Magnet is strong and connection is secure, Cable is soft and plyable with a strong braid just like the other unit. NO issues with charging and it seems to have the same charging throughput as my OEM apple Type C cable. If you're on the fence, the seller states a 12 month warranty. I was personally pleased that the company followed up with me to make things right. So, the company gets a 5 star review for their customer service and the fact that their second unit to me works.
