Its very well made and I have used mine as benches that my children use in a small flat as they have no space for storage , let alone to put furniture in so they are using them for sitting on and no issues with taking their weight. Would there be any problem standing directly on top of it?** A: It’s not that strong no. I stood on mine and it caved in. It’s Ok but quite wobbly now and a bit dented.
