It gives a modern look. I bought three boxes to cover the entire wall 9x12 or so. I only expect noise dampening. The tv we placed in front will surely still be heard through the wall, but I think the panels help. It was an easier option than tearing out the drywall and insulating or making a double wall. These are really hard to cut by hand or with scissors. I had to used my chop saw. They still well but our paint is on the glossier side. Picture of what it looks like on my wall ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Beautiful and Easy upgrade for any acoustically untreated area. *by J***N on August 10, 2025* I needed some soundproofing in the living room because we have high ceilings and sometimes the sound reflects and creates an echo from the TV so I decided to get these black tiles for behind the TV and surround them with a lighter grey tile to offset them. The black tile are super high quality, have a nice pattern that they create when arranged properly and have a self stick backing so no adhesive is needed. They measure 12x12 and come 12 to a box so they covered an area a little bigger than the TV itself. They early reflections are gone now and the sound is so much better. But the aesthetic look of them is stunning. It feels like a mini movie theater and with some up lighting they really look fantastic. Shipping was lightning fast as always and installation was a breeze and actually a fun, easy and fast project that really upped the look of the living room.
