For some reason, I always lose chargers and adapters so I feel like I am constantly purchasing replacements. Whenever I do buy a replacement, I am always worried as to whether it will work with my current equipment. If you are looking for a battery charger that works with your Nikon D5000, I can say β€œYes, it is compatible!” This battery charger works well and it also comes with a car charger adapter, which is a nice bonus. I am always skeptical when buying non-brand batteries or chargers, but this one works great. I have had no issues and it charged my battery super fast. It is small and compact, so you can easily store it in your camera bag. The plug that goes into the wall flips in and out of the battery charger so. It is also nice because it has a built in LED charge indicator that turns red when the battery is charging and when it is fully charged, the light turns green. Also, the battery fits nice and snug into the charger. Overall, I would recommend it and I think it is a great charger, especially for the price. Review: STK charger works good for my Nikon D40x w/battery EN-EL9 - I'm happy with the light weight STK charger, works great for my Nikon D40x camera which uses battery EN-EL9.I was a bit surprised when I first put the battery in it as the space is wider than the actual battery. There are 3 posts on the battery and the charger has only 2 connectors so you must align the posts and connectors up when putting it in the charger, easily done just align battery to the far right inside the slot, it snaps in secure. You then flip out the plug and plug it into the outlet, the little red led light comes on and after awhile it turns green when charge is complete. Like the added car plug that comes with it too. Good price and it all works good. ## Features - Slim and portable design - Smart LED charging status indicator.(Red: Charging, Green: Fully Charged) - AC/DC output for both home and travel use - The charger is for charging your battery only - Compatible battery model:Nikon D3000, D5000, D40, D60, D40X SLR Cameras, MH-23 and Nikon EN-EL9 / EN-EL9a Batteries ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0061MRHZW | | Best Sellers Rank | #3,277 in Camera Battery Chargers | | Brand | PCATEC | | Camera Model Compatibility | Nikon D3000, Nikon D40, Nikon D40X, Nikon D5000, Nikon D60 | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars (335) | | Input Voltage | 100 Volts (AC) | | Manufacturer | PCATEC | | Mfr Part Number | EN-EL9_JDK | | Model Number | 10000321 | | Output Voltage | 4.2 Volts (DC) | | Specification Met | CE | | UPC | 707948976656 185895913939 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** PCATEC - **Camera Model Compatibility:** Nikon D3000, Nikon D40, Nikon D40X, Nikon D5000, Nikon D60 - **Input Voltage:** 100 Volts (AC) - **Output Voltage:** 4.2 Volts (DC) - **Specification Met:** CE ## Images ![STK EN-EL9 Charger for Nikon D3000, D5000, D40, D60, D40X SLR Cameras, MH-23 and Nikon EN-EL9 / EN-EL9a Batteries - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61kmt9lnaML.jpg) ![STK EN-EL9 Charger for Nikon D3000, D5000, D40, D60, D40X SLR Cameras, MH-23 and Nikon EN-EL9 / EN-EL9a Batteries - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71D3Py+c-QL.jpg) ![STK EN-EL9 Charger for Nikon D3000, D5000, D40, D60, D40X SLR Cameras, MH-23 and Nikon EN-EL9 / EN-EL9a Batteries - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51zprAvTgCL.jpg) ![STK EN-EL9 Charger for Nikon D3000, D5000, D40, D60, D40X SLR Cameras, MH-23 and Nikon EN-EL9 / EN-EL9a Batteries - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71efK0HDbIL.jpg) ![STK EN-EL9 Charger for Nikon D3000, D5000, D40, D60, D40X SLR Cameras, MH-23 and Nikon EN-EL9 / EN-EL9a Batteries - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/616Rok94mOL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ GREAT! *by M***E on June 26, 2013* This battery charger works for my Nikon D5000 and it was super cheap! Good price and it all works good. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Product, Fine Service, Great Price *by C***2 on October 26, 2015* I ordered the charger online on a Saturday afternoon. It was sent via USPS on Tuesday, and I received it on Friday. It seems to work perfectly. I have charged two batteries with no problem. Good service, received in a reasonable length of time, works as advertised, great price, plus it came with an adapter for the car, which I didn't expect--would recommend the product and the seller without hesitation. I could rate this 5 stars, but I gave it 4 because -- well, i just don't get excited over a battery charger... ;) As an additional note: I read about a similar battery charger from another seller that in some cases didn't work at all or that got very hot when it was plugged in. I thought this one got unusually warm when I plugged it in; but I switched outlets and it is nice and cool while my batteries charge. ## Frequently Bought Together - STK EN-EL9 Charger for Nikon D3000, D5000, D40, D60, D40X SLR Cameras, MH-23 and Nikon EN-EL9 / EN-EL9a Batteries - SanDisk 128GB Extreme PRO SDXC UHS-I Memory Card - C10, U3, V30, 4K UHD, SD Card - SDSDXXD-128G-GN4IN - EN-EL9/EN-EL9a Battery Charger for Nikon D40, D40X, D60, D3000, D5000 Cameras --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/5372393-stk-en-el9-charger-for-nikon-d3000-d5000-d40-d60](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/5372393-stk-en-el9-charger-for-nikon-d3000-d5000-d40-d60) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-04*
