After watching a Pilates bar do it yourself video on YouTube, I figured out that you can actually twist the band around the bar carefully and that's how you control the tension. They don't tell you how to do it in the directions or on the box but it can be done. The grip handle and the rubber if done correctly you can curl it and roll it and it will put more tension on your workout. I may keep it but for $30 I'm not sure I'll have to think about it.
