I needed to do some work on my dock pilings that were still in three feet of very cold water after they dropped the lake to winter level. These shoes and Caddis stocking foot wader kept me warm and dry. I was not the least bit cold or uncomfortable. Note that the shoe was a tight fit for a Caddis X-Large wader but I was able to stuff it all together. Also, be cautious on sizing the wader. I'm 6'0' and 195lb and the X-large was too large. I wish I had ordered a smaller size wader which would have worked well with this wading shoe. I would recommend this items to anyone who needed to work or play in cold water.1 year update: I'm still happy with these items. I just finished winterizing the dock plumbing and was congratulating myself on this purchase. Everything worked as advertised by keeping me warm and protecting my feet from the rip-rap. I am 6 foot tall with a 32 inch inseam (according to a couple of websites that is what is expected). I like extra room in the legs for all the walking I do. So I ordered a pair that says 34 inch inseam. They 34” fit my legs well, but the body literally came up over my shoulders . So I went back to the pair that has a 32 inch inseam which is a little short for the legs, but they are still too long in the body.On the good side, they seem to be well-made, and the material holds up better than many of the other neoprene items. I like the shoulder straps.
