Instead an arc is created between two electrodes in a quartz bulb, which is filled with xenon gas and metallic salts. The lamp ignites when high voltage is applied. I purchased these back in 2/2022 and it’s 4/2026 now. I don’t know about you but, I never had a brand in bulbs last this long. I’ll be purchasing them again for sure.
