I definately wouldnt of payed the rrp price of £29.99 thats for sure. This Chinese made Japanese style saw looks really nice and is decent quality. I like that you could feasibly take it apart, or possibly even change the blade if you so wanted for example. It was also well packaged, the box was stylish but there was no plush bag/pouch with mine, like other reviewers mention. The blade teeth are very sharp, as you'd expect, great for pruning or sawing things on the smaller side. The blade size is small compared to the standard hand saws you get in the UK. For this reason I purchased the bigger blade size of 8 Inch. I think the 5 inch version would be too small to be practical or effective. Overall, I think its a nice saw, and would make a great gift.
