I had owned 8 pairs of brooks over the years and had great luck with them when I was in the military but since I got out and put on a bunch of weight I had not been able to find a brooks shoes to help me get back into running (brooks doesn’t really have any max cushion shoes at this time). I bought a glycerin gts which worked great but lack of cushion would leave my knees and hips hurting because of all the extra weight that I put on. I started looking into other brands for max cushion shoes and after much research settled on these shoes. These shoes have performed better than expected. I can run longer and when I’m done my knees and joints do not hurt nearly as bad as they did in my other shoes.
