Stay away. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked great for my trip to rainy Ireland *by J***. on October 12, 2024* I was going on a trip to Ireland, and in various Ireland, travelFacebook groups people said to make sure you wear waterproof shoes. I also want to travel as light as possible and wanted to use shoes I already had. My shoes have a cloth upper and I knew they would not be waterproof. So the last minute I ordered these silicone covers. My shoes are the traditional athletic shoes with the thicker sole that has a bit of a flare. I was concerned about the fit, but it wasn’t a problem. I could get them on fairly easily. I was careful because of the reviews saying they tore. I was actually able to pull really hard without a problem. I put these on when we were going to go for a walk after it had rained. We were walking on a gravel road and also in the grassy area. I had no leaks and no tears. We actually walked more than 15,000 steps that day. I thought for sure the bottom of the liner would wear through, but it did not. I am really pleased with these. I don’t know how they would hold up for weeks and weeks of wear, but other than being dirty, I didn’t see any wear of the tread at all after the one day of heavy use. The ribbed tread on the bottom actually gave me better grip than the shoes themselves.
