I decided to give the LUVCOK Food Thermometer, Digital Cooking Thermometer a try because of the promised features.The first thing one notices, after it's removed from its box, is the large display area. So many others are so small & hard to read. There is also a temperature chart written right on it so you don't have to worry about where you put the instructions to look up the proper temperature for beef/Lamb/Pork/Veal and the fact that it's waterproof makes it so easy to clean because you don't have to worry about getting water in it. Setting the temperature C/F is as simple as pushing a button. It also has a backlight, so you can read it in low light situations, and a Max/Min/Hold button.But the real test is using it. I bought it to use in my soap & candle making because temperature plays such an important role in how the final product turns out. With the display so easy to read, responding so quickly and the reading going down to tenths of a degree, I am able to get the temperature perfect to produce the perfect product.The one thing I have found since using the LUVCOK Food Thermometer, Digital Cooking Thermometer is that it is so versatile. I am also using it while cooking meats that need the temperature to a certain point to kill the bacteria and taken my own temperature when I wasn't feeling good.With its large range (-58F to 572F) it can be used anywhere you need to monitor the temperature. I have used this old, can barely read it dial thermometer forever. Ordered this amazing digital food thermometer and I couldn’t be more happier. I had to right away test it out comparing it to my old dial. I microwaved a cup of water and placed both in. As much as I could read my old one... they were showing the same degrees. I had to test it again. I have had roast in the crockpot now going on an hour and a half. So again I put them both in and again they showed the same degrees as best I could read my old one.It has a feature that I didn’t know it had when I ordered it, it has a built in magnet. I also have a much more expensive version and this is as good. One of the problems with most inexpensive meat thermometers is that they take a long time to reach a stable temperature. This one has a small tip with little thermal mass, like the more expensive versions. That means it heats up quickly and provides a stable result.It has a nice backlight, temperature hold feature, and it turns on and off easily by just pivoting the probe.
