I waited to do this review until I had the opportunity to use the grill a few times before making an assessment. First, I hired a handyman to assemble the grill. I have put together many items, but simply didn’t want to tackle this one. It appeared to be straight forward and my handyman didn’t have any issues with the directions, parts or assembly. He assembled it in about 1.5 hours, maybe less. Second, my brother used the grill first for Thanksgiving and smoked a brisket over 14 hours! This was his first time making brisket and using a pellet grill. I ordered the recommended pellets from Amazon, we used the hardwood flavor. To smoke it for 14 hours the smoker used one 5lbs bag of pellets with a little left over. I have never tasted anything so amazingly delicious in my life!!! The grill held the temperature to perfection! It held up over 14 hours on the first cook like a champ! The ease of using the grill was extremely easy and self explanatory.It was November and cold when he made this brisket and I did a quick clean up before the next snowstorm hit. The grill stayed covered all winter until last weekend, Memorial Day, 2026. I did a thorough inspection and clean up for my next grilling session. I am so amazed with how easy it was to clean! I used a shop vac to vacuum the ashes and used warm soapy water and a soft cloth to damp wipe the entire grill. Everything I missed at Thanksgiving wiped clean so easily!For my solo attempt to grill for Memorial Day was seamless and effortless. There were no issues with starting or stopping the grill. Again, the temperature held exactly the correct temperature and grilled to perfection! The food tasted amazing!!! The smoke flavor was popping! My neighbors were literally coming by salivating! I ended up making a few to-go plates! Lol!I did the 2-2-1 method for my baby back ribs and they literally were falling off the bone! I turned up the heat and grilled six steaks that were so incredibly juicy and tender! Everything was a hit! I am so overjoyed with this grill! I’ve always been intimidated with grilling but this grill…OMG! It made me look like a 5 star grill master!!!I absolutely love this grill, I love how easy it is to use, the flavor, but the most important part is the clean up! Warm soapy water on the grates, a quick wipe down of the inside and outside and done! The grill looks brand new again! Oh, and I use heavy duty aluminum foil over the drip plate, that also helps tremendously with a flawless clean up. I also purchased aluminum drip pan containers for the grease pot. Easy peasy!The cover is also very heavy duty, as I mentioned, we live in Michigan and it was a brutal winter and the cover kept everything dry and protected. There were a few pellets left from Thanksgiving that were still in the hopper and they did not get any moisture or damage whatsoever.This grill is amazing! I will definitely be doing a lot more grilling this summer and recently purchased a grill cart so that it will make preparations easier.If you’re on the fence about purchasing a pellet grill, do not hesitate! If you love that old fashioned charcoal taste, they have pellets for that too! I bought several varieties of pellets and they are amazing! I can’t wait to try the variety of dishes that can be cooked on this grill. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Meet my new all-in-one *by on Reviewed in the United States October 25, 2022* I was a little skeptical at first, but this unit performs exactly as advertised. I've used it to smoke briskets, turkey breasts, ribeyes, and anything else I can find. I've also used it to grill hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken breasts, and steaks. The high temperature setting goes to about 445° which was plenty to sear it good. That's the good side. The bad side is that the burn cup/chamber has to be cleaned after every use, and there's no convenient way to do that. The cup doesn't come out, and there's no way to access it without taking out the grate and dripping plate which are covered in grease from cooking. Then you have to somehow get into the cup to clean it. I used wet paper towels to cling onto the ash, I've also used a leaf blower to blow the cup clean (don't try it unless you want to get covered in ash), and I've remove3d the lid hinge pins, held the hopper cover closed with my thumb, and flipped the unit upside down and tapped it on the table to get the ash to fall out. None of these are convenient or fully useful. Another down side is that I can't switch pellets for different smoking jobs. If I use hickory for a job, and then want to use apple wood the next time, there's no way to remove the pellets from the feed screw cylinder. The best you can do is flip it over to empty the hopper (all over the floor) and then run the unit until the screw drive is empty. I'm going to have to figure out a better way to do it, since this isn't working. Side note: Do NOT try to clean the inside of the lid with oven cleaner. It strips the paint off. Mine was covered in dripping grease and smoke from normal use, and before packing it into my RV, I wanted to clean it, so I removed the lid, grate and drip pan and applied some spray oven cleaner. It stripped the paint from the lid, worked well on the grate, and helped the drip pan rust when it was rinsed and allowed to dry. I'm hoping in future generations of grill there might be a way to remove the crucible/burn cup for cleaning and some way to remove the drive screw to remove unused pellets for the next cook. Would I buy it again? Absolutely. I love smoked brisket, and the portability makes it perfect for an RVer. If they ever fix the aforementioned issues, I'd gladly purchase the new model. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Grill *by on Reviewed in the United States May 27, 2025* Great deal and works really well. I've used costco pellets and pit boss pellets with no problems. This smoker is better and cheaper than the trager version for the same sizeI assembled it in about a hour and wasn't very difficult of do.It takes 10-15 minutes for the temperature to stabilize and gives a good amount of smoke.I've cooked brisket, chicken, ham and jerky on it. All of it has turned out well.Cleaning is easy enough just vacuum out the ash and wipe down the grill.
