But it certainly tastes on that level. I found its bitterness a bit more zingy than other Matcha. But I generally don't drink Matcha for its taste! I value the Matcha on its goodness and energy/focus release. This does have a very good release to it, which indicates it is of very high standard. I have marked down as 4 stars, because of the awful foil packaging inside this very lovely, fancy paper tube. I can't stand matcha in a foil bag! Pure chimp has it in a jar. Another company I am reviewing now. Has it in a tin. Its just awful and makes an absolute mess when you're trying to take Matcha out of the foil package. It goes everywhere. You loose alot of it. So for that reason it looses a star. I will not buy Matcha in a foil bag.
