We travel a lot during the winter and like to be prepared with extra blankets, shovel, flashlight, snacks, etc. Although that emergency hasnt happened, thankfully, we tested the bags by wearing them over simple clothing and shoes and sitting outside in PA's 30'F winter. We were still warm and dry after an hour. My husband tucked his coffee mug inside his bag but that produced condensation which made him cold sooner. I could have stayed out there for much longer. The bags pack up very small so they dont take up much space at all, are a comfortable, roomy fit, light and surprisingly very warm. I'll be ordering several more for our children who also drive in the winter. Great addition to our safety kits during storms of all kinds too. I only wish I could convince our cat to sit still inside it with me!
