I was under the assumption it was a fraction of the size actually is. Either way this scale is super handy and so far has managed to stay pretty accurate. I use it to get an accurate weight of my package I am going to attempt to mail. The scale has kept things relatively accurate and consistent for me. I enjoy using this it's easy to use. I do recommend reading over the user's manual first just a kid better idea of how this scale truly works. Thumbs up highly recommend it give it a try and give it a whirl what do you got to lose?
