The protective cover has an eye at the top which makes it easy to grip to remove. There is also a soft cloth pouch with a draw string that is large enough to hold the unit and the small instruction booklet that comes with it. **Q: Hi, please could somone tell me if this can be used on concrete?** A: The settings show wood and brick. Whether brick means concrete I don’t know... probably best going back to manufacturer? **Q: is this suitable for detecting damp in a static caravan** A: Works fine on our walls in damp house ( plaster and plasterboard ) how accurate it is I don’t know but it seems to work, note it has 3 settings, firewood, brick and temperature ( brick covers plaster and other building materials).
