Hand Held Radios like yours can be a couple of different types of connectors to your HT antenna. It might be female rg400 or BNC. You will need a male on one side for your HT and a female RG-58 on the other side to attach it to your Hand Held. If you can find a Radio Shack, they can set you up for an adapter.
