A: I am not positive - I have been putting all my gomexus knobs on baitcasting handles which require Shimano A fitting.  It appears that Gomexus will tell you that a stradic 4000 spinning reel handle will take a Shimano A knob...   Spinning reels of 5000 or larger require a Shimano B knob.  Hope that helps.
