I make a 10 cup pot, using one scoop of this coffee along with 3 scoops of medium roast DD Original blend full strength, and 4 scoops of medium roast DD Decaf. It comes out smooth and enjoyable. If you want it a little bolder, use two scoops of JD and drop one of the full strength DD scoops. If the lid seems loose, you could place plastic wrap over the can before putting the lid on the can to keep it fresh. The lids are sometimes not as tight as you might expect. (A screw on lid would be better). Now to the shipping... It was shipped to me in an envelope with no padding. The lid was loose and dented in several places, which made it not fit the can tightly. The prior can that I bought at a local store last Christmas was very tight, so I just transferred the contents.
